Sherborne Market: Windswept and a little sunkissed!

Sherborne Market: Windswept and a little sunkissed!

There’s something wonderfully unpredictable about a market day in Sherborne well there certainly was on Sunday!  The gusty winds kept us all on our toes, sending tablecloths fluttering and stallholders exchanging those knowing “here we go again” smiles. Yet despite the bluster, the atmosphere was as warm and welcoming as ever.  I've missed my 'market family' over the winter time despite having to get used to the early alarm clocks again (ouch!)...

Despite the challenges the conversations, the curiosity, and the shared laughter made it all worthwhile.  And then just when we’d all resigned ourselves to a day of grey the sun made a brief but glorious appearance (picture to prove it).

Thank you to everyone who braved the weather, stopped by for a chat, admired the jewellery, or took home a piece of the Jurassic Coast. Your support means the world, especially on days when the wind tries its best to steal the show.

We are in Dorchester next week, I'm hoping for a little less breeze and a little more sunshine.
